Ladies and gentlemen. 

We are pleased to present to you the website created for the project under the name: "The trail of national memorials in Poniatowa Municipality" co-financed by the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport from the Fund for the Promotion of Culture.

It was created on the initiative of many wonderful people - the people of our small homeland, especially thanks to the support of Jadwiga Kustra's celebrated memory, who is no longer present among us, awarded with the Medal of Merit for Poniatowa, a long-standing educator, tutor of children and young people, for whom the preservation of polish identity and the transfer of historical heritage from generation to generation was always close to heart.

Monuments and memorial sites play a significant social role, express our memory of the past and allow us to pay tribute in public spaces and to keep the memory of important events. Presented memorials scattered across forests, cemeteries, fields and parks are an integral part of the history, tradition and landscape of our small homeland.
